Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
What is it ?
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is a fertility treatment that involves placing specially prepared sperm directly into a woman’s uterus during ovulation. This minimally invasive procedure increases the chances of fertilization by bringing sperm closer to the egg.
When and Why Choose IUI?
IUI is recommended for couples or individuals experiencing mild fertility challenges, such as unexplained infertility, or as an initial treatment before more advanced options like IVF. It’s a less invasive and cost-effective option, ideal for those seeking a natural-like conception process.
